This program is for current Kindergarten through 2nd graders who enjoy the game of baseball. Players will learn proper fundamentals and skill development of fielding, hitting, throwing, catching, and base running necessary to play competitive baseball in a fun and positive environment.

​Details:

• Teams will be formed to create an in-house league
• First hour will be focused on instruction and skill development
• Last hour will be a league game
• Year-end Tournament
• NEEDED: Coaches (training provided) and Rookie League Coordinators (day of only, help facilitate practices) 
• Experienced Tribe coaches will assist in skill development sessions
• $150/participant includes Tribe hat and shirt

​Schedule:

• All players will attend Skills Day at Mukwonago High School on Sunday, February 23rd 5 - 7 pm
• 10:45 am to 1pm at Lauren Park in Mukwonago on
  Sunday May 3, Saturday May 9, Sunday May 17, Sunday May 31, Sunday June 7, Sunday June 14,
  Saturday June 20,Sunday June 28, Sunday July 12, Sunday July 19, Sunday July 26 (Rain Make-Up)

• 5 weekday nights throughout the season (dates, times, locations TBD)

Age/Grade Level:

• 2nd Grade, 1st Grade and Kindergarten for the 2019/2020 school year (boys and girls)
• Children enrolled in a kid-pitch program are not eligible for Rookie League

Games Rules Summary:

• Utilizing “coach pitch” rules, each player will learn the game of baseball
• At this level, the concept of using a tee during a game will be progressively eliminated
• Year End Tournament: A player is out after 3 swinging strikes from a coach pitched ball
• Each player will play all positions during the season
