Mukwonago tribe scholarship
In years past, the Mukwonago Jr. Indians Baseball Organization has selected senior members of the Mukwonago Indians Varsity Baseball Team for scholarships. The Mukwonago Tribe Baseball Organization will continue this tradition of awarding scholarships to players based on the following criteria:
- Superior display of character and leadership ability
- Excellence in academics
- Outstanding commitment to the MHS baseball program as well as giving back to the youth program

Brendan Lorenz
Our 2022 Scholarship winner, Brendan Lorenz, is a 4 year player in the MHS baseball program and competed during his youth career for the Mukwonago Tribe baseball program. He is a hard-worker on the field and in the classroom. Never complains, is always reliable, on time, and professional. Brendan is a soft-spoken leader by example who continues to enjoy the game and is a student of the game. On the field he is a smart pitcher and a dependable middle infielder.
Brendan plans on playing baseball at UW-Whitewater next year where he will study Finance and Accounting.

Teddy Grunske
Our 2021 Scholarship winner, Teddy Grunske, was a dedicated teammate who always focused on what he could do to make his team better. Teddy always took on the role that was asked of him by his coaches. His leadership and perseverance are unmatched. Teddy was the assistant coach for the U17 American Legion team in Mukwonago this summer and is attending Winona State University to study Health, Exercise, and Rehabilitative Sciences.

Skyler is attending Waukesha County Technical College to follow his dream of becoming a firefighter, was a passionate and dedicated player as he came through our Junior Indian organization. Today he draws accolades for his commitment to scouting, his love of the game of baseball, and his willingness to give back to the youth of our community.
